Although they’re very nearly ready, we need a smidgen more time to finalise and properly test the contact form and blog tools before we can make them available to you.
We’ve done our darndest to get them to you before Xmas, but with only a few days to go, while development is now complete there's a large number of platform changes we’re not confident we can fully test and release before Xmas. So we’ve made the call to hold the release until we’re back in Jan to ensure it goes smoothly.
Contact forms will be available to you in mid-January, with the blog to follow a few weeks later. More form features will follow in Q1.
We thought you’d appreciate a glimpse of how they're looking to keep the faith alive, so here’s what you’ll get in January (followed by a reminder of a few useful workarounds you can use in the meantime to include a contact form and a blog on your site).

We’ve been under the hood making a few improvements to the v6 Image Gallery, which is now better than ever! It’s quicker and easier to use and allows you to organise your images just by dragging and dropping them into place.
Check out our full how-to video for a guide to getting going...
(Mac users - please note that the 'delete' key doesn't work on a Mac. To remove an image on a Mac you'll need to hit the trash icon on the editor panel)

While some of our teams have been wearing out their keyboards to bring you forms for v6, other teams have been working on an exciting new release.
As of today you can add footers to your v6 sites and you'll also benefit from an improved experience when adding SEO meta tags and modifying your default fonts.
Now, don’t worry – this release has no impact on us bringing you forms, or for that matter a blog and membership tools, all of which are still on track to be developed over the coming months. They’re different teams with different skills, so this has by no means slowed things down on that front.

...(plus workarounds, widgets and general nuggets of wisdom)
Since launching the v6 migrate EAP (Early Access Preview) a couple of weeks ago, many of you have flown over to v6 and with impressive results, it seems. For those yet to take the plunge (or should that be flight?), we thought it would be worth sharing some of the best examples we’ve seen so far, along with some insights and workarounds shared by your good selves, as well as our Support team.

Moonfruit v6 icon widgets, new page templates, Facebook shop fixes... Oh, and you can now migrate from v5 to v6!
Yes, yes, we know we’ve been calling it the ‘upgrade’ feature up until this point. But it’s actually more of a ‘migrate’ process, as you’ll be moving your sites from one technology to another.

We know many of you are keen to find out about our progress with the feature that will enable you to upgrade your sites from v5 to v6. And some customers have been asking why we're building new v6 features and supporting new sites above existing customers and the upgrade path. We'd like to address both issues.

We have some great news for those of you waiting patiently for the second phase of our HTML5-powered Moonfruit v6 rollout: the Beta has landed! And you can now get your shop on!
As you know, we released the Early Access Preview (EAP) of our brand new HTML5-powered software in November last year and those who wanted to try it out have been doing so over the past few months. While the EAP enabled you to start a new website using the new tablet-friendly software, a number of features weren’t yet available, including the ShopBuilder. Today’s launch of the Beta version of the software changes that. If you’ve already built or are planning to build a v6 site, you can now add a shop along with numerous other features.
Here’s what’s now available in the Moonfruit v6 Beta...
This is the one you've been waiting for and we're confident you'll find it was worth the wait.
Build a shop with v6 and it will look as good across all devices - your customers will be able to shop on a tablet just as they would on a computer.
