You could say Vicky Pearce is the definition of a Moonfruit Mumpreneur. Originally a designer by trade, Vicky was inspired to launch her children’s hair accessories business Lexi’s Place, following the birth of her daughter – the eponymous Lexi.

She sells a range of hair accessories, from clips and bobbles to bands and barettes, all of which feature her unique hand-stitched colourful motifs adorned with pretty flowers, buttons and ribbons.

 

With more than 1,500 Facebook followers, they’ve developed quite a fan base too – you only have to visit the Lexi’s Place website to see a whole gallery of happy customers.

 

Vicky has spent no less time crafting her Moonfruit website. The design echoes the handmade nature of her products, with button and ‘stitching’ graphic elements, and the site’s product photography is equally vibrant.

There’s no rest for this wicked Mumpreneur either, having recently set up another business – Lexi’s Place Design – this time alongside her husband James too. The business shares the Lexi’s Place brand and offers professional design services, including bespoke graphics and product photography.
