Moonfruit has always had a unique drag and drop editor. It's the reason our customers tell us we're so easy to use. And why it's so easy to design good looking sites. We thought long and hard about how to improve the editor without losing the features our customers love. Our challenge was to make it easier for new customers to get started and at the same time ensure that power

users got quicker access to the depth of tools available with fewer clicks. We think you'll like it. In the process we thought we'd throw in a few new features of for good measure including social media tools and an HTML snippet widget which gives you access to a variety of 3rd party widgets.

Unparalleled design control

Moonfruit 5.0 is not just a website editor, it behaves more like a graphic design package giving you control over the detailed design of your site. The Flash environment allows true drag and drop, point and click editing. You can layer, crop, animate, colour, apply transparency to objects on your page. You are limited only by your imagination, not by the technology.

Social media integration

All Moonfruit sites support a full membership/login system allowing you to create members only pages and give edit rights to different users of your site. This all links in with your social networks so that you can message out from your site to Facebook or Twitter, and invite people to become members of your site from other networks.

The Moonfruit Library

We provide you with a free library of images, animations and widgets for you to use in your site. They are available in a range of styles, individually customisable and help you achieve the look and content you want. Check them out in the Library folder of the File Manager. You can also upload any content you like, or paste in any 3rd party HTML snippets.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

All our sites are optimised for search engines by default. As well as the Flash version of your site seen by your visitors, we also produce a clean and simple HTML version for SEO. All normal page content is represented in the HTML version which correctly marks up all text formats (e.g. Headers, etc.), it is easy to add metadata and is compliant with W3C standards.

Integrated Google tools

Building and editing is only one part of running a successful website. After that you must generate traffic, track visitors, and master the tricky world of SEO. By integrating our editor with Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Google Webmaster Tools we allow you to easily use these free and powerful tools to help manage your website.

Add 3rd party widgets

As well as our own widgets you can add any third party widget to your Moonfruit website using our HTML snippet tool. An unlimited number of additional features to be added to your site from Google Gadgets, Wigetbox and Amazon widgets - games, ecommerce tools, RSS feeds, video/music players and much much more.

Flexible image tools

Any image on your Moonfruit site can be scaled, rotated and made transparent. In addition to that you can combine with our images tools like crops, gallerys, slideshows and animations to create a unique look on your site. And if that isn't enough, add image tools from 3rd parties using our HTML snippet widget.

Sell things on your site

Moonfruit also makes it easy to start trading online. Use our PayPal widgets to set up 'buy now' buttons that link to a PayPal shopping cart. Add nicely designed product pages from our templates.
